James is a UK qualified Associate in the firm’s Property, Trusts and Estates practice group. James advises on a broad range of private client matters, with a particular focus on lifetime estate planning, trust structures, and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney. James regularly advises legal representatives on all aspects of estate administration, across a broad range of estate types, including making applications to the courts and obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.

Professional Experience

James was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2020, having graduated with a first class law degree from the University of Plymouth. Prior to joining MJM Ltd, James was a member of the Private Client team at an award winning regional firm in the South West of England, where he gained broad experience advising individuals and families on a wide range of trusts and estates matters.
