Areas of Practice
Ms. Desmond-Tetlow is a senior associate in the firm’s litigation group and advises on all areas of matrimonial and family law and in general civil litigation. She is also a trained mediator.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining MJM, Ms. Desmond-Tetlow had practiced at the Bar in Ireland, where she also served as Vice-Chair of the Employment Appeals Tribunal and as a Council member of the Irish Council of Civil Liberties. Upon coming to Bermuda, she worked for the firms of Peter J.C. Smith and Appleby, Spurling and Kempe. She was also for many years the legal advisor to the Women’s Resource Centre.
