Responsibilities
Susan Crysler manages the firm’s library and information centre, provides legal research and reference services, training programs in the use of print and online resources and supports marketing and IT operations.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining MJM, Ms. Crysler served as Director of Library Services (BC) for McCarthy Tetrault LLP, Vancouver, BC, Canada’s first national law firm and a leader in Canada for integrated law firm management. She simultaneously served as McCarthy Tetrault’s Manager of Firm-Wide Library Projects, a role in which she provided leadership to librarians across Canada in four major cities. Ms. Crysler was with the firm for 19 years.
Professional Activities
Ms. Crysler served on the Executive Board of the Vancouver Association of Law Libraries 2004–2006, and on the Board of the Canadian Association of Law Libraries 2003–2005. Ms. Crysler is a member of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL), Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL), Special Libraries Association (SLA) and the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL).
