Established by Mello Jones & Martin in 1998, the Legal Scholarship provides a financial award in the amount of $25,000 to an outstanding young Bermudian or PRC holder with the right to work in Bermuda wishing to enter the field of law and return to Bermuda to practice.

Matthew Godfrey
Matthew Godfrey is the 2011 recipient of the MJM scholarship. Matthew graduated from Saltus School with Distinction. He won the AP National Scholar with Distinction Award in 2006 for high level achievement on his Advanced Placement exams. In 2010, he graduated from Bucknell University, Pennsylvania, with a BA in Economics and Philosophy. In October 2010, Matthew began his studies at the University of Birmingham for a two year LLB for Graduates degree.
