If you are a Bermudian law student soon to graduate and are looking for permanent employment, we want to hear from you.

Here is what we would say if you asked, ‘Why choose MJM?’

MJM Limited is a contemporary organization (read ‘with it’) comprised of open-minded senior practitioners willing to share their experience and knowledge with bright, young professionals eager to learn their craft and develop their careers. Yes there is a hierarchy but everybody here is on a first name basis and everybody’s birthday is celebrated with cake. We are open to those who wish to achieve balance in their career, domestic and community lives. We believe building a career and having fun are mutually reinforcing activities. We care about clients and regularly assess their satisfaction with our service. We make decisions using our heads and our hearts. We remember those ‘who have not’ and we are active supporters of many Bermuda charities. We like to give our employees autonomy and we like to see them respond with teamwork. It’s very simple: MJM Limited is a great place to practice law.

Kimberley Caines has written about her experience participating in the Marshalling Scheme, which is jointly offered by the Supreme Court of Bermuda and the Bermuda Bar Association. Read about this interesting and unique opportunity in this article. The article was published in The Legal Voice, 2011, Winter Issue, (No.7) p.2.
